Description
Product Overview
The Kakadu Outback Shower is a fourth‑generation, Australian‑engineered portable shower system designed for rugged outdoor use. Housed in a durable gray‑colored plastic shell, the unit measures just 21.25 x 17.62 x 8.35 inches and weighs 16 pounds, making it lightweight enough to carry on long treks yet robust enough to withstand harsh conditions. The patented slim‑line pump, only 7 inches wide, slides onto a standard 20‑lb propane cylinder, converting fuel into hot water in seconds. An integrated 12‑V rechargeable battery powers the pump for up to four hours of continuous flow, eliminating the need for external power sources. Included components are a DC charge cable, main body, pump with hose, and a versatile shower head with adjustable flow control. The Outback Shower comes with a three‑year warranty, reflecting Kakadu’s confidence in its engineering and material quality.
Usage
Designed for unisex adult users, this shower excels in a variety of outdoor scenarios. Whether you’re camping in a remote national park, backpacking through alpine trails, or need an emergency wash station after a day of fishing, the Outback Shower provides instant hot water without the hassle of a generator. Its compact size fits easily into a backpack or vehicle trunk, and the leak‑free locking connectors ensure a quick, tool‑free setup: simply attach the pump to a propane bottle, twist the shower head into place, and press the on/off button. The battery can be recharged via the included DC cable from a solar panel, car charger, or portable power bank, making it ideal for extended trips where electricity is scarce.
